Dinner for Dimes

Every year, The University of Pittsburgh’s Phi Beta Lambda, a professional business organization, holds Dinner for Dimes. Dinner for Dimes is a charity dinner to support our national philanthropy, March of Dimes, but also brings together professionals and students for a unique networking opportunity. This event was founded in 2011 by a PBL alumnus who was inspired to bring students and industry professionals together to support the charity. March of Dimes works towards three main goals: ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death, and ending the health equity gap for all families. PBL is proud of our partnerships with corporations around Pittsburgh as well as the strong participation from members of our chapter. In 2022, PBL won the Western & Central PA March for Babies National Service Partner Challenge with our donation of $3,700 to the organization.
